I AM

Hello,

I'm Monika Andrijević

I was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1992 but my digital life began in 2000 as that year marks the appearance of a first computer in my household. Since I was only 8 we can pretty much limit my computer knowledge to visiting Barbie sites online and saving them for offline viewing, but hey a girl’s gotta start somewhere! At quite early age I took interest in graphic design as I discovered that you can also draw digitally. Started with MS Paint and worked my way up to Adobe Photoshop. In the meantime I’ve finished Elementary and High School and started University.

As I was always the girl online in 2014 I started a beauty blog cherryxas and thus my love for social media and digital marketing was born! I was pretty casual with it until I’ve started my internship in Degordian in 2016. Since then I’ve been learning about social media and digital marketing nonstop as it is an ever evolving field. Thankfully I’ve managed to become a specialist in social media while still working on my first love - graphic design and finishing university, all at the same time. Currently I’m working on my Master’s Thesis and moving my whole life to Zagreb.

Tech Savvy

I don’t consider myself the next Elon Musk, but I definitely have a knack for technology. I’m an advanced user of almost all Microsoft Office software, as well as Adobe Creative Cloud. I’ve also dabbed into programming and know the basics (HTML and CSS).

Team worker

I perform quite well in a group and just as good working alone. Since I believe that task management is a key to success having a functional and synced team is the only way to go.

Goal Digger

I am constantly learning something more and something new. Books, online courses, tutorials and blogs are my weapon of choice. I work hard every day to achieve my goals. I mean you gotta love that feeling of ticking the box next to a task!

Organized

I am the embodiment of the word organization. From books on my shelf to daily tasks - it all needs to be neat and tidy. If chaos by any chance emerges I have no greater joy that to organize it back to order.

Creative

I exercise creativity on a daily basis because the more you use your creativity the more you have it. Writing, drawing, photographing and even day dreaming daily helps me keep my spark.

Passionate

My parole is that if you don’t love what you do, then there is no point in doing it. I feel grateful that I can wake up every day happy that I am living the life I want to live and I love every second of it.
